Bochum Parkway are back with their new single New Times Coming releasing this Bank Holiday Monday. It follows their debut single Born to Pretend which dropped late last year after supporting Montello at a sold-out Record Junkee with This Feeling. Their debut tangled up a nostalgic feel to it which has carried on into New Times Coming.

It’s been a busy time for the Sheffield based band, joining The Upcoming Network’s management roster, and performing back-to-back shows with The Denabys at a sold-out Foundry and Danny Mellin at Yellow Arch. The group are becoming Sheffield’s newest craze and with that solidifying themselves as the talent to watch.
New Times Coming leans into the nostalgia of the 2010 indie scene, turning you back in time. The track opens with a leading line that’ll hook you in and then spirals into a catchy melody with drums that pulse throughout. The single holds a youthful energy, pushed forward by frontman Ollie Naylor’s vocals which confidently command attention. Paired with the same sharp lyricism from their debut single, New Times Coming is a statement of the band's talent.
The newest single seems to hold a special meaning for the Bochum Parkway, with them explaining ‘this song feels like a turning point for the band not only are we getting to the point in our lives when everything is changing but we feel that it’s happening for our music careers too…we realised we were capable of so much more than we were delivering, and this song feels like the change that needed to be made, almost as if it's unlocking something within us - hence new times coming.’

To kick off the new start Bochum Parkway will be playing at Hyde Park Book Club on the day of release. They will also have a further show at Yellow Arch with The Tivolis on the 25th June.
Check out New Times Coming when it’s released this Monday.
