Earlier this month, in the heart of Camden, Dingwalls 2 saw a night and line up of unreal, upcoming bands from around the country. Supporting The Sway, Indie/Alt rock band, Far From The City, smashed their set. The Bucks/Oxon based 5 piece brought the atmosphere, energy and stage presence to one of Camden’s most legendary music venues.

With an 8 song setlist, the band easily eased in with great crowd interactions. They started with their 2025 single ‘Be Like This’ to kick off the set with an electric sounding introduction and I think it sounds even better live! Half way through, the band played their newest tune ‘Anyone’, which came out at the end of July. I think this song is a perfect recommendation for new listeners and it’s definitely my favourite. I think this thrilling halfway point helped the set take an energetic turn. The band smashed into their next hit ‘Ava’ and the energy kept rising from there.

Far From The City played both released and unreleased tunes such as Onlookers Paradise. The second unreleased single (with no name as of yet) on the set, felt like the perfect mixture of rock and heartfelt lyrics - I cannot wait for this one to come out and I hope it’s soon! I loved how the prechorus was more stripped back and then hit into full band for the chorus.

To close their set, they finished with their first single ‘Toxic Trait’. A great set with an amazing ending, especially with guitarist Alex heading out into the crowd to play up close and personal away from the stage.

Keep an eye out for this band’s upcoming gigs because you do not want to miss the rise of Far From The City. I can’t wait for their next London show. Stream their newest single ‘Anyone’.
