Radiator are back with their new single “Carnival” out this Friday April 17, 2026. It marks the band’s first new material since the release of their debut EP Glass broke into the Top 40 of the Official Vinyl Singles Chart late last year, an impressive milestone that they followed with a six-date tour.
“Carnival” leans into a groove-driven, indie, post-punk sound, drawing clear inspiration from 80s icons like The Fall and Echo & The Bunnymen while folding the edge of Radiohead, Queens of The Stone Age, and Fontaines D.C. The result is a track that feels both nostalgic and sharply current, pairing a driving rhythm with vivid, restless lyricism.

Frontman Ollie Blakesley describes the song as rooted in observation, written after traveling across different parts of England. That sense of movement and repetition carries through the lyrics, which circle around fragmented scenes and shared experiences, all anchored by the recurring refrain: “Carnival, come on, correct me.”
The release is part of a busy stretch for the band. Radiator are set to appear on BBC Introducing Essex & Cambridgeshire for a live studio session on April 16, following an earlier interview on BBC Radio London’s Breakfast Show they did earlier this month. They’ll also headline their biggest show to date at The Victoria in Dalston on April 23, joined by irisworm and The Draize. (Tickets Here)

With “Carnival”, Radiator sound more confident than ever, building on early success while carving out a distinct, energetic voice of their own.

Check out “Carnival” when it releases this Friday, 4/17!
