Taking over the Roundhouse theatre in the heart of Camden, London, Erin LeCount is living out her dreams. Having played at the Village Underground just mere minutes away, and to only 90 people at Rae’s just last year, Erin is quickly making her mark on the industry.
Queuing halfway down Chalk Farm Road ‘following the white rabbit’, to the Pareidolia pop-up shop, fans line the streets in their white lace clothes emulating Erin herself with non-stop chatter about their excitement.
Inside the stunning venue the atmosphere is contagious, anticipation and admiration for the beautiful stage set up and to see the artist we’ve all been waiting for. Erin’s entrance to the stage follows the iconic tune “Apple Bottom Jeans” and we get a sense of just how loud the crowd is going to be tonight.

After introducing Pareidolia, the phenomenon of perceiving meaning patterns or images where they do not actually exist, Erin opens the show ethereally with one of her most popular songs “I Believe.” It is immediately clear just how much this means to the audience with almost the entire crowd singing along before Erin has even shown her face.
Following her arrival to the stage and introduction to her unreleased song “American Dream,” I was amazed by the dedication of her fans who knew almost every word already. Truly setting the ambience of togetherness. Throughout the show the crowd was so connected, both with Erin and each other.
It was incredible to witness every emotion of Erin’s heartfelt songs being emitted by the audience with every lyric being sung straight back to her, everyone feeling free to let go of their own emotions and live directly in the moment. Feeling everything that Erin did whilst creating and performing the songs and living it out in real time, not just when listening to her songs by themselves.
Both Erin’s presence and vocals were breathtaking. Her excitement and emotion was so open for the audience it was gorgeous to see just how grateful she was to be there, and truly well deserved. Covering Queen’s “Somebody to Love,” her voice was showcased in the most amazing manner, suiting her perfectly. Despite technical difficulties during the song, she recovered like a true professional, not letting it affect her or her performance in the slightest.

Unveiling her vulnerability further, Erin wrote and read a lovely speech to thank her fans and to express her gratitude for them before performing one of her most adored and relatable songs “Don’t You See Me Trying?” Regardless of the show nearing its end the crowd did not falter in their singing or cheering, remaining in Erin’s divine grasp and continuing to support her with the same passion that she radiates.
Writing and producing all of her own music, and performing solo it is clear just how much this means to Erin and it does not go unnoticed. Every word and chant being relayed back to her by almost 3,500 people, Erin’s talent and enthusiasm is the basis of her success. The final cheers for her before her reluctant exit from the stage is an extensive indicator of this.
With the resounding success of the Pareidolia EP and lingering excitement for her next single, I can't wait to observe Erin’s success grow even further. ‘Follow the white rabbit’ and tune in to Erin LeCount now!
